Why collect only the tabs?
The tabs of all types of cans are smaller and cleaner than collecting the whole can.  Tabs can make a big impact when collected in numbers.  Lastly, our pop tabs collection does not interfere with other can recycling programs that we highly recommend pop tab collectors support by collecting cans as well as tabs.

      Here's how easy it is to make a difference in the lives of the families who turn to Ronald McDonald House in their time of medical crisis.
Just pop off the tabs from your soda cans, vegetable and soup cans, pet food cans, special diet food, etc.
Save them in any container.
Bring them to our collection points in participating McDonald's or to either one of the Wichita Ronald McDonald Houses.
Tabs are then weighed for recycling and the monies raised go to help with our costs to operate our Ronald McDonald House.®
If you live too far away to drop them off, simply take them to your nearest can recycling center and make the check out to us.

The Minneapolis/St. Paul Ronald McDonald House Community established the Ronald McDonald House Pop Tab Collection program in 1987.
To date over 400 million pop tabs have been collected nationwide generating over $300,000.
